Child Training Bible Giveaway Ends 9/12

My husband and I are trying our best in raising our boys to be young men of God.  We think it is super important to do so.  The world is a scary, crazy place out there and we as parents need to give them a Godly foundation to stand on so they know who they are.  After searching the internet all day, I came across a site with something that I immediately thought, Wow I need this for our kids.  The site I came to is Child Training Bible.  This is an amazing kit that helps teach the children on things that they may face on a day to day basis.  Things like fear, lying, jealousy, not listening, anger, and so many more topics.  There are even quite a few verses on the gospel if you just want to get your kids into the bible.  This kit requires you to get a 9x6 bible of any version.  We already had a Veggie Tale bible that the kids love and the card sticks out just a tad but we make it work.  You will also have to get highlighters and page tabs in the the colors that are on the cards, which you can get on Amazon for a great deal.  All that information is on the Child Training Bible website and you can also purchase it there as well.  I would recommend this for all families.  I think one kit would be good for a family.  I love how the cards also have questions to ask to get your children thinking about the topic and it has a prayer that you can have your children pray regarding that topic, which not only teaches them how to get into the bible but to also learn how to pray.  If we can teach our children to stand strong while they are young then the world won't have a chance at bringing them down.

Be careful what you say

I found a gray hair! I'm totally freaking out. Right after I had my second son I kept joking that having 2 boys so close I would be gray before I was 30. Then when I had my 3rd son I kept joking about having to dye my hair all the time because I'd be gray before 30 with 3 boys under age of 4. Well here I am. I turned 30 in march. I have 3 boys under 7 and found not one but 2 gray hairs. I plucked them. Then was told not to pluck them because 2 more would grow in it's place. Good gravy, I hope that's not true. So now for sure I will be dyeing it pretty regularly because I'm too young for gray hair!! Ugh. Have you found any gray strands yet? How old we're you when you found your first gray hair?

Are You Gutzy?

My kids are excited about school supply shopping.  A few weeks ago we saw Gutzy Gear in a store and they wanted some.  What they did not know was that I was accepted into the Gutzy Gear party from MommyParties and MomSelect.  We were selected to have a party featuring the new products from Gutzy Gear to share with their friends and cousins.  They were excited when they found out.  So I invited a few friends over for games and prizes.  The first game we played was Gutzy Bingo.  The kids had a blast looking at all the different patches there were.

 

After we played Gutzy Bingo we played Gutzy dominos.  They all had fun seeing who would get rid of all there pictures first. 

The kids loved earning the Guzty Tokens so that they can trade them in for their Gutzy Gear straps and patches.  I love how its all velcro.  It is not a cheap velcro either, I actually had a hard time taking them apart.  Which is a good thing because then they will not easily be lost.

 

 

Since school has started I asked my sons if anyone in there classes has any Gutzy Gear Patches and they said no but a few kids wanted them and my oldest told him to have his mom take him to the store to buy his own so they can trade.

Always and Tampax Always Radiant Collection

Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Lotion Sunscreen

Living in Florida, it is hot and sunny pretty much all year round.  It is necessary to have sunscreen on no matter what time in the year you go out.  I have found a new sunscreen that I take with me everywhere.  I recently was given the opportunity to try the Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Lotion Sunscreen spy 30.  This arrived just in time for a few outdoor birthday parties and I was excited to try this out.  This sunscreen is easy to rub in, smells great and leaves my skin feeling pretty silky smooth.  I did not get burned at all and in fact I got a nice little tan going on and I love it.  I use this every weekend when I go outside and do yard work.  This is probably one of my favorite sunscreens.
