8 Simple Tools for Raising Great Kids

(Disclosure:  I received this book for free in return for my honest opinion.  All thoughts shared here are my own.)

Sometimes, I feel like I am the world's worse mom.  Other days I feel like I am totally rocking this mom stuff.  I know that it is natural for feel like both.  I love reading parenting books to help me feel like I rock this stuff more than I fail.  8 Simple Tools for Raising Great Kids is a fabulous resource that every mom, or even dad, should be reading.  The chapters are short but are too the point.  While some of the tips may seem like obvious tips, I found myself saying "I need to work on this".  This book was an easy read for me and it got me thinking about how I am raising my kids and even how I was raised and how things could have been different if my parents did some of the tips in this book.  I will be passing this book onto another family so that they can grow together and become a happy home!  I love the summary of Tips at the end of the book which helps sum up what you read in the book!  At the end of the book it mentioned an assessment you could take of your parenting style.  I took the assessments and not only did it give me my results but it also gave more tips on what I should work on!
