A Dog's Purpose

With the new movie coming out January 27th, A Dog's Purpose, I wanted to share some reasons my dogs had purpose with us.  We moved cross country so we had to re-home them before moving.  We have a big hole in our hearts and miss them dearly.  When we start missing them, we like to reminisce about how they brought joy into our life.  Like Cosmo, the white and brown mix, loved to spin around in circles all over the house.  It would make my kids laugh hysterically.  He was also afraid of water.  Everytime you brought out the hose he would run and hide.  Jynx, the brown dog, was a good hunter.  She would bring us dead raccoons and possums.  She loved to jump.  She could jump up and look over our 6 foot fence.  When the boys would play in the pool she would come in and join them.  These 2 dogs brought a lot of happiness to our family and I can't wait to get another dog.

The movie, A Dog's Purpose, reminded me of our dogs.   Based on the beloved bestselling novel by W. Bruce Cameron, A Dog's Purpose, is a sweet and lovable family film that shares the soulful and surprising story of one devoted dog (voiced by Josh Gad) who finds the meaning of his own existence through the lives of the humans he teaches to laugh and love.  Told from the perspective of "everybody's best friend" the film highlights the importance of familial bonds, and the unconditional love we have for our best friends.  The movie starts Dennis Quaid, Britt Robertson, K.J. Apa, and John Ortiz.
