With All Due Respect

(Disclosure:  I received this book for free in order to facilitate my review.  All opinions are my own.)

I have 3 boys.  One of which is pre-teen age and respect is a virtue that we are working on.  Reading this book, With All Due Respect, I gained some helpful wisdom to be able to implement within my family.  This book has helped with the respect level between my kids and I.  This book is recommended to be read by all parents who want happier, healthier relationships with their children as they are moving through the tough tween/teenage years.  I love that this book starts with making is look at ourselves before we try working on our children.  Each day starts with a Bible verse to help us get some of God's word in us and ends with "What about You?" questions and then a "Pray with us" prayer.

About the book:
With All Due Respect is a handbook for parents navigating the difficulties of the tween and teen years.  Roesner and Hitchcock helps parents identify what successful, relationships look like and give easy to follow lessons in enforcing rules, communicating lovingly, resetting relationships, overcoming fears and exhaustion, and handling rebellion.  Each day features a story every mom can relate to, down to earth questions to think about and a prayer to launch an action plan.  As a result, the reader gains new skills and perspective, greater strength, and an ability to live out faith daily as never before.  With All Due Respect is for all parents seeking not only to connect more deeply with and positively impact their teens and tweens, but also to grow more deeply in faith through the process.
