I love Christian music. It is what is usually on my radio overtime you turn it on. I love the message that the songs bring. I love that my kids love to listen to it too. The Afters is one of my favorite bands and every time one of their songs comes on the radio, I can hear a small voice in the back seat singing the songs word for word. It brings joy to my heart to hear that! Our favorite song from this album is Battles. It encourages us to let God fight our battles with us. After reading the story about what happened in the lives of the band members during the 2 years it took to make this album, I cried. No one is immune to life battles, and this band still pushed through after everything they went through. This makes me like this band more and helps me to relate to them more than them just being another band on the radio.
