In a time when there is so much hate in this world, it is more important now than ever to focus on the good stuff. The inspirational stuff. Everyone should take a moment and think about someone who has inspired them in any way. I will tell you about a lady that inspires me:
At my previous church, my pastor's wife really inspires me to be the best wife, mom, and woman of God that I could be. She encouraged me when I felt like I was failing. She loved me with her kind words and actions. She spent time with me and my children. At a church where there is many, she makes time for everyone. She helped me study the Bible. Even though I have moved far away from her, distance does not matter. She still checks up on me. I am inspired to find a young lady to encourage along her parenting journey as I had a mentor.
Born This Way is going into its second season and it premiers Tuesday July 26th on A & E Network. This show chronicles the lives of a group of young adults born with Down Syndrome as they pursue their passions while defying society's expectations. The series also follows their parents who share their own journey of joy, sacrifice, and unconditional love.
