The Easter Robin

(Disclosure:  I received this book in order to facilitate my review.  All opinions are my own.)

Easter is coming up and I love this holiday.  I love what Easter represents and I want to teach my children all about Jesus and how He died and rose again.  In this book The Legend of the Easter Robin, the characters are explaining how a robin got it's red breast and what it represents.  In this story Tressa is talking with her Gran, and she notices some robin eggs and worries about them hatching and being healthy.  Gran lets her know that the Creator will take care of the egg.  This book talks about the day that Jesus died.  This is a great book for parents to read to their children.  It could be a great tradition to start reading every year on Easter morning.  It would also be good for older children to read to their younger siblings!

About this book:

With new vibrant artwork from New York Times bestselling illustrator, Richard Cowdrey, this edition of The Legend of the Easter Robin renews the wonder and charm of the original and timeless tale writhed by Dandi Daley Mackall.  This Easter classic tells the story of Tressa, whose grandmother reveals to her the story of a small robin who saw Jesus struggling and soared to help him.  It reminds Christians everywhere how much Jesus sacrificed for us and how much he loves us.
