Easter is coming and it is time to start filling your children's baskets! My kids normally get some toys around a theme that they are into right now. But, I also love putting books into my children's baskets because I want my children to have a love of reading and you can never have too many books! I especially love putting books that have Christian values in them. I received three books and I will be putting into my children's Easter baskets.
My youngest child will be received the book The First Easter Ever. This book is great for young readers who are young readers. There are bright colorful pictures on every page to help illustrate what is written. This book talks about the before, during and after the crucifixion of Jesus in a way that the children can understand! Great book.

My middle son will be receiving the NIV Gift Bible. He has been asking for his own Bible, since his got lost in our recent move. So this opportunity came at the right time. This isn't a children's Bible but it is a great Bible to have. It is pretty. The colors are boyish so he will love this. The writing is a little small but still easily read.
My oldest son, who is not a teen yet, (I'm not rushing it either) will be receiving the NIV Teen Study Bible. He has said many times that he doesn't want a child's bible anymore because he is growing up so this is the perfect gift for him. I love the little facts, questions, and thoughts that are throughout this Bible. It helps them to really dig into the Bible in a more mature way!
