My children love watching Pippi Longstocking. I mean, who doesn't love watching it. She is a lovable character. Well, Astrid Lindgren who is the creator of Pippi Longstocking, also wrote the book Rasmus and the Vagabond. Now, a lot of people I know have read this book growing up. I have to admit, I don't remember it. So I had to dive right in and read this book for myself. I absolutely love it. The adventure and imagination that you go on in this book is a fun journey. There are some illustrations throughout this book to help you see what they see. In a time where there are more video games, electronics, and televisions readily available to children, books are a rare thing for them and this book could bring to life an imagination that children may not be using. The characters are lovable and the book is easy to read. This book I am definitely giving to my children to read!
