I love Bibles. I have quite a few different versions of the Bible. I think some of them are easier to read than others are. I received the Modern English Version a few weeks ago. This version is simple to read which is really great. As a children's church leader, I have to be able to make my lessons easy for the children to understand and this Bible helps me quite a bit. I love that Jesus' words are in red. There is a small concordance in the back to help find verses on certain topics, and the maps that are in the back are great to look at to get an idea on where these events happened. This really isn't like a study Bible, but it does have some cross referencing scriptures throughout the pages and it has a little bit of facts at the bottom of some of the pages which I like. The Bible itself is fairly thin and light. It is not big and bulky. Take a look at the differences between versions:
