I just watched a really good father son movie! Every Boy Needs a Hero is a movie that families can watch together and bond. I love the value of the importance of fathers that this movie instills. I know that there are circumstances that make it impossible for fathers to be in the picture, but every boy needs a positive male role model in their lives, whether it be a coach, a teacher, an uncle, etc. This movie shows that importance and encourages dads to get involved in their children's lives! It also is based off of baseball which is America's favorite sport! This is a movie we will be watching for movie night one Friday. My husband and sons will all love it.

About this movie:
From the producers of Alone Yet Not Alone, comes a heartfelt movie about legendary small town baseball coach, Joe Finn, who after taking his shot as a scout for the big leagues returns home to discover the damage he's done by leaving his family behind. Now on a quest to rebuild his relationship with his son David, Joe forms a new baseball league to reinvigorate the underdog little league team his son had been coaching. Together, as father and son, they try to put away their differences and help bring their ragtag team of ball players, "The Gappers", to victory.
This movie is scheduled to be released Tuesday, September 16th!
