Audrey Bunny book Giveaway

(Disclosure:  I received the book Audrey Bunny in order to facilitate my review.  All opinions shared are my own.)

Audrey Bunny (written by Angie Smith) is a wonderful book for children to teach them that they are loved no matter what they look like.  It is a very important lesson for them to learn.  In this book Audrey Bunny starts out in a department store and is passed up by many children.  She thinks it is because she has a mark on her chest that won't go away.  When she is finally bought by a little girl named Caroline, she finds ways to hide her mark so that Caroline won't send her back to the store.  In the end, she finds out that Caroline loves her just as she is.  This is a heart touching story that should be read to all kids.  God loves us no matter what we look like, do, say, etc.  God made each and every one of us and He does not make mistakes.  The bible verse Psalm 139:14 states: I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.  I think this verse goes great with this story.
The pictures in the book are loving pictures that help show the story.  Great illustrations.  I love the parent connection that this has at the end of the book.  It encourages parents to ask questions about the story and it encourages children to know that they are loved and important just as they are!
