(Disclosure: Borax provided me with a sample of their product for this post. My participation is voluntary and my opinions, as always, are my own.)
I started using Borax a few months ago when I received a sample from Purex Insiders. I have bought a few boxes since then. I love this product. I usually just pour in about a half cup with my Purex laundry detergent and of course my Purex Crystals. I have found that this is a great laundry booster and I personally think my clothes are cleaner and even more fresh. Not only have we used Borax for laundry detergent, but we have also used it as a floor cleaner. We mixed some Borax with some vinegar and cleaned our boys bathroom floor and it looked great. We have poured a cup of Borax in the toilets and let it sit overnight and in the morning the toilets look cleaner. I love using products that have more than one use. The versatility of a product makes it more likely for me to purchase it.
What is Borax? It is 100% natural mineral from the earth. Once removed from the ground it is washed, dried, and boxed for consumers. Borax is the common name for sodium tetraborate: a naturally occurring substance produced by the perpetual evaporation of seasonal lakes. Nothing is added to Borax. No Phosphates, chlorine, or other additive chemicals. It works by softening the hard water which protects your detergent so it can maximize cleaning power.
Borax and Purex have given me the opportunity to give away some coupons to a lucky winner. One winner will receive 2 coupons to try Borax for themselves for free! Awesome. Just enter below on the rafflecopter form!a Rafflecopter giveaway
