The 5 Love Languages for Children review and giveaway

Last week I did a review on A Perfect Pet for Peyton.  You can read that review here.  I had the opportunity to also read the book The 5 Love Languages for Children.  Wow!  This is an amazing book to read.  I definately recommend all parents read this book and learn what your childrens love language is.  It will do wonders.  This book goes into detail about the 5 love languages: Words of Affirmation, Quality Time, Receiving Gifts, Acts of Service, and Physical Touch.  This book also gives ideas on how to express those love languages to the children.  At the end of this book there are some pages for the children to take the quiz to see what their love language is.  I took this quiz with my 6 year old and found out that his love language is Physical Touch and Words of Affirmation.  My 5 year old son has the Quality Time and Acts of Service love language and my 3 year old is still a little young to take the quiz but based on his personality so far we think his is Physical Touch.  I really do believe this is a must read book for parents.

About this book:
To be their best, children need to feel loved. Dr. Gary Chapman’s groundbreaking Five Love Languages series has helped millions of couples communicate love more clearly, and Dr. Ross Campbell M.D. has applied the innovative system to children as well. The 5 Love Languages of Children gives practical suggestions for learning how your children interpret love and creating a sense of security in which they can thrive.
