My kids broke the gate we had blocking our kitchen so they couldnt get in. Since they broke it they constantly go in the fridge grabbing things and making a mess so we tried the Safety 1st Lock Release Latch. Waste of our money, granted it was only 6 bucks it was still a waste. After a good pull from my 5 yr old son it broke. We followed the directions and waited the 24 hours before activating it, so it was broke because we didnt apply it right. I guess we just need to suck it up and buy a new baby gate to keep the other 2 little ones out, because obviously 5 year old is a smart boy. Dont waste your money.
