About the smoker box:
We are a grill loving family. We barbecue chicken, hamburgers, veggies, and so much more on our grill. We use our grill so much that it is time to get another one! So when we got the opportunity to review an item from CaveTools, I was excited. I was given the tough choice of deciding which item I wanted my husband to test out, which we ended up choosing the Stainless Steel Smoker Box. No regrets at all. We love this box. It is our first time actually using a smoker box. It was real simple to use. We put it right to use and started grilling some chicken.
The box itself is pretty. I love the stainless steel look, nice and shiny and feels very durable.
The size of this smoker box is perfect. I put it on top of the grill grate for reference. When you use it though, you put it directly on top of the charcoal and let it work its magic. It takes a few minutes for the wood chips to start smoking. We chose to use mesquite wood chips.
The smoke started and our neighborhood was full of amazing scented smoke! We could not wait for our chicken to be done so we could eat! At the end, the chicken looked and smelt so delicious and we immediately cut into and enjoyed our food. Not one piece of chicken was left over.
