Moving

Sorry I havent been blogging much recently. We are in the process of moving and I've been so busy packing. It is amazing how much stuff you don't realize that you accumulate throughout the years. We have lived in our 2 bedroom apartment for almost 4 years now and there's just so much. I'm excited though. We are moving into a nice 3 bedroom house. It has a big backyard for our boys to run around and play. We are getting a dog and the boys can play with him in the backyard. We will have a screen back porch which I'm excited about. I can already see and plan parties back there. The school is less than a mile away so that means I can walk the boys to school to save gas and get exercise. Bonus :) So all of that good is making all this boring and daunting process of packing worth it. We get the keys tomorrow. We're so excited.

Moments of Truth Book Review

I find it hard to find a good devotional book that I can get into.  I normally have great intentions on reading them but about 2 weeks into reading I kind of get into a rut and forget about reading them.  When I got the Moments of Truth Devotional by John MacArthur, I thought it would be the same way.  It turns out that I actually have stuck to reading the devotions and I am current on the days.  It is an easy to read devotion that takes 5 minutes to read and take in.  You could spend longer in a study if you wanted to read more of the bible chapters that the verses come out of and research the topic the days devotion is on, but if you are looking for something to give you just a taste of what God has to say then you could read this.

EdenFantasys Product Review

(Dislaimer:  This post is intended for adults.  The site that the links take you to is a site of adult nature)

Express your love with Vroom! Sex toys from EdenFantasys. Shop now!

I love getting things in the mail.  It makes my day.  I recently purchased a couple pieces of Lingerie from EdenFantasys and when they arrived I was excited to see the items in person.  The first piece that I saw was this plus size lingerie.  This piece is super pretty in person.  I could not wait to try it on.  I was a little bummed that the top part was pretty loose on me but I added the straps that it came with and it fit perfectly after I did so.  I love how it made me feel like I looked decent in it.  I was not self consious wearing it.  The quality of the piece is well made, though I feel the panty that comes with it could be a little bit better, but overall if you buy this piece you will not be disappointed!

The next piece of lingerie I recieved is also a pretty one.  I was kind of disappointed by this piece when I first looked at it, but just a little bit.  When I opened up this lingerie I noticed that it was pretty see though.  Nothing wrong with being see through but on the site it was not as transparent.  There are 2 color choices for this piece and the other choice is clearly see through and since this one was not so I got this one.  I did build up the courage to try it on and even though it is not what I originally wanted I have to say that I am pretty happy with this.  I love the color-scheme of the hot pink and turquoise.  It goes really well together and I think it looked pretty good on me.   This is another piece that I would buy again.

If lingerie is not what you are looking for, EdenFantasys has a lot more to offer.  They have adult toys for women, men, and couples.  They have makeup and candles and so much more.  Also if you go to the site today they are having a big spring clearance sale.  So get all your stuff and save more money.

The 5 Love Languages for Children review and giveaway

Last week I did a review on A Perfect Pet for Peyton.  You can read that review here.  I had the opportunity to also read the book The 5 Love Languages for Children.  Wow!  This is an amazing book to read.  I definately recommend all parents read this book and learn what your childrens love language is.  It will do wonders.  This book goes into detail about the 5 love languages: Words of Affirmation, Quality Time, Receiving Gifts, Acts of Service, and Physical Touch.  This book also gives ideas on how to express those love languages to the children.  At the end of this book there are some pages for the children to take the quiz to see what their love language is.  I took this quiz with my 6 year old and found out that his love language is Physical Touch and Words of Affirmation.  My 5 year old son has the Quality Time and Acts of Service love language and my 3 year old is still a little young to take the quiz but based on his personality so far we think his is Physical Touch.  I really do believe this is a must read book for parents.

About this book:
To be their best, children need to feel loved. But if you and your child speak different love languages, your affection might get lost in translation, affecting the child’s attitude, behavior, and development. Dr. Gary Chapman’s groundbreaking Five Love Languages series has helped millions of couples communicate love more clearly, and Dr. Ross Campbell M.D. has applied the innovative system to children as well. The 5 Love Languages of Children gives practical suggestions for learning how your children interpret love and creating a sense of security in which they can thrive. Bobble Bots Review

If you are looking for a fun new toys to put in your kids Easter Baskets, then look no further.  My kids and I were able to try out a new toy called Bobble Bots and they are so much fun.  I had a little party and invited a few moms and their kids and let everyone experience this new toy.  Us moms had fun trying to get everything set up, which was pretty simple and simple is good.  We turned on all the Bobble Bots and we started laughing at how noisy they were as they were moving around.  The kids enjoyed it as well.  It was good to see them getting along and playing and laughing with this toy.  I like how you can design your own city with the pieces.  There is no set way for it to go so the options are endless.
