Freschetta® Rally for Real Pizza

Do you prefer your pizza to taste like frozen pizza or homemade pizza?  I just added my picture on the Rally Mosiac on facebook on Freschetta's page.  They are committed to making every pizza taste as if you made it at home – with minimal processing; special-recipe meats; crispy, yet tender crusts; and home-spun recipes like our new Brick Oven sauce featuring sea salt & olive oil.   I personally love Freschetta's pizzas.  I love all the options they have available.  The taste is amazing and fresh tasting.  It to me does not taste like frozen pizza which is a great thing because I do not like that taste.  I prefer my pizzas to taste fresh and homemade and Freschetta has nailed it. That is why I am rallying for real pizza.  I also encourage you to do the same thing.  Go add your photo to the mosiac here.  Not only will you be Rallying for Real pizza but you will also be entering for a chance to win some amazing pizzas!  What are you waiting for....GO!

CrowdTap Perfect Tees and Tanks sample share

As a member of CrowdTap, I was recently given the opportunity to go to Old Navy and get 2 free tanks or tees along with a friend of my choice.  I chose one of my sisters to come with me.  This was a blast.  We did not have an easy time picking out what we wanted.  Luckily our store had a lot to choose from.  It was fun to go shopping for free clothes and being able to hang out with my sister who moved far away from me.  So, I got two things that day!

My sister and I had fun shopping and we loved the clothes.  We also loved the cashiers expression when we gave her the coupons to get them for free.  It was priceless.

Miami Vineyard Live Review and Giveaway ends 3/9

I think that Praise and Worship is probably my favorite type of music.  I love all the songs and the words and passion that goes into the music.  I was recently able to review the new Miami Vineyard Live Praise and Worship cd and I must say that I fell in love with this CD.  There are 13 tracks on this cd and let me tell you that I have loved each song, some more than others. You can feel the soul and the passion of these singers as they are singing praise and worship to our God. My kids knew some of these songs and started singing and dancing to the music too. This is a great cd for the whole family. There are songs like Holy Spirit Come, With All of my Heart, Breathe, and How Great is Our God. My favorites are tracks number 11 and 13.

So what is Miami Vineyard Live?

What happens when a group of 20+ musicians and 10+ songwriters steeped deep in their own musical traditions of Black Gospel, Latin, Caribbean, and Anglo come together to create a new tradition and sound? What happens when the fusion of Black, Anglo, Latino, Caribbean, and Cuban voices unite together to worship in one voice? Among the 2000 people that attend the Miami Vineyard Community Church, there are over a hundred singers, instrumentalists and songwriters that make up its eclectic worship ministry. For one night, these musicians joined together in worship and invited the church to document the sound that is uniquely MIAMI VINEYARD LIVE.
This distinctive bi-lingual liturgy is filled with many flavors, from Latino claves to gospel two-step to funk and soul to delay-laden rock guitars of modern worship, yet they all work together seamlessly to create a new sound and voice that is authentic and refreshing. From anthems of praise and proclamation to songs of intimacy and adoration, there is a common thread running deep throughout this recording and that is true worship of the Living God as an expression of His Kingdom breaking in on the streets and beaches of Miami, FL.

Check out what this music sounds like below.

Miami Live from Vineyard Resources on Vimeo.

You can buy your very own Miami Vineyard Live cd.  You will not regret doing so.

Or...

You can win your own CD.  I was given the opportunity to give a cd to one of my readers.  How awesome is this!

Who am I

Last night my husband and I were talking about goals and things and he asked me where I saw myself in ten years. All I could come up with was I'd be almost 40 (ugh lol) with 3 teenage boys. He told me to dream bigger and I couldn't. Why couldn't I? All I see myself as is just a mom. Everything that I do revolves around my children. I don't have hobbies that I focus on. I don't have me time and if I did I wouldn't know what to do. I don't have other moms that I can just hang out with because I'm always chasing a child. What fun is that? I don't get invited to hang out for a girls night out. I have nothing interesting to talk about other than my kids. Now, don't get me wrong I love my boys and I wouldn't trade my life for anything else. I feel like I need more substance in my life but I just don't know how or where to find it. I kinda feel as if I have lost my identity as a woman. Any other stay home mom or moms in general feel likes this? What are some things that you do for "me time".

Milk and Truffle Ghirardelli Squares Review

Want to taste a good Chocolate candy?  I sure do.  Recently, I was given the opportunity to try Milk and Truffle Ghirardelli Squares.  These are so good.  I love that the squares are individually wrapped.  Ghirardelli signature SQUARES™ chocolates deliver the perfect balance of intense, slow-melting chocolate and rich ingredients in a variety of flavors.  The serving size is 3 squares and so that is what I had.  These 3 squares were good and I felt my craving go away after enjoying them.   I personally do not like a ton of chocolate and I probably could not eat more than three anyways.  I like the creamy, smooth center.  This chocolate is not a rich chocolate which is what I look for when I make my choices.

How good do these look!

(Disclaimer:  I recieved a bag of the Milk and Truffle Ghirardelli Squares from SheSpeaks and Ghirardelli in order to facilitate my review.  All opinions are my own.)

Our Love Story

I am linking up with From Mrs. to Mama for What's Your Love Story in honor of Valentine's Day

1. How long have you and your significant other been together?  John and I courted for about 2 1/2 years before we got married.  We just celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary in January.

2. How did you meet? {What's your "love" story? We first met when he came over to our house to hang out with my brother.  I thought he was cute.  A few weeks later I started going to the same church as him and my brother and my crush grew.  Spending time in youth group with him and just getting to know him. I had such a crush on him that I let him talk me into being the only girl to get shot at with a paintball gun during one of our church festivals.  Of course it hurt like crazy but I was thinking, Did he see that, Does he look concerned that I am in pain haha.   I think it was probably about 2 years later before I told him that I liked him and our courtship started.

3. If married, how long have you been married? We have been married for 7 wonderful years now

4. If you are married, where did you get married at? Big or small weddingWe got married at the church we had been going to.  It was not a big wedding or a small one.  I'd say in between.  Filled with family and friends that we love.

5. Do you have any nick-names that you call one another? Not really, we say babe and sometimes he will call me sweetheart.  In the beginning of our courtship he called me Cumbermelon because my favorite scent was cucumber melon.

6. Name 3 things you love most about your honey.   I love that he is a wonderful man of God.  I love that he makes me laugh.  And I love that he works so hard to provide for our family.

7. Tell us how he proposed? I love this story =)  We first went to Davis Island and watched the sunset.  Then we decided to go ahead and get some dinner.  As we were walking from where we were just sitting we noticed a limo and he made a comment saying there must be a celebrity here or something.  Then he dared me to go ask the limo driver for a ride.  I told him no, I could not do that. He kept insisting that I ask the driver to let us go and I kept telling him I was not doing that.  Then I notice the driver get out of the limo and walk around and open the door for us.  I looked at John and said "Are you serious?" He said yeah get in.  Then I noticed his brothers truck and John said that his brother was gonna take his truck home for us.  So we then went to the melting pot and had a romantic dinner there.  When we got done and went to leave the limo driver pulled out a red carpet for us to walk on to the limo.  We then went back to wear we watched the sunset and in the rocks was a blue wine bottle.  (This bottle was from our 2 year courting anniversary)  In the bottle was a note from John and he had me read it then he asked me to marry him.  The ring was in a shell that he found when he went camping at the beginning of our courtship.  It was one of those clam shells that had two halves.  He had a half and I had a half.  He had a green ribbon glued to it and the ring was in there.  Then we went to both our families letting everyone know we were engaged.  Most romantic night ever!

8. Is he a flowers and teddy bear kind of guy for v-day, or strawberries, champagne, and rose petalsWe do not really do anything special for valentines day but if he were to do something I think it would be flowers.  One year he had flowers delivered to me on valenties day.

9. Are you a sunset dinner on the beach kind of girl, or pop a movie in and relax on the couch?  I am a romantic so I kinda like the sunset dinner on the beach date.  I love sunsets and I love the beach so put the 2 together.

10. Tell us one thing you'd like to do with your significant one day. If you could do anything? Go anywhere?  I would go on another cruise with him.  We went on one for our honeymoon and it was great and romantic and fun just being with him and exploring other countries.

11. Tell us what you plan on doing on this Valentine's Day.   We do not really do anything special for Valentine's Day.  Maybe a movie night after the kids are sleeping or something like that.

12. Are you asking for anything this Valentine's day?  No, I know our finances do not allow for any extra expenses so I don't ask for anything for holidays, but what girl does not want flowers.

13. Give us one piece of advice of keeping a relationship strong and full of love. I would say have fun.  Play games with each other, laugh with each other.  Don't be serious all the time.

14. Show us a picture of what love means to you.   I choose this one because it was because of our love that we have these 3 beautiful boys.  And I love being surrounded by all these guys.  I am the luckiest woman in the world!

Boogie Wipes Giveaway (2 winners)

I became a Saline Ambassador towards the end of last year.  While, I had used the Boogie Wipes on occasion when my kids were a little bit younger it was not something that I had purchased regularly.  Well, that has changed.  Elishah has had a runny nose forever it seems and he now always brings me the package of Boogie Wipes and tells me he has snot.  I think he likes the grape scent the most.  Whenever I wipe his nose he says yum.  Its too cute.  Boogie Wipes are made with natural saline to dissolve boogies (mucus) caused by the common cold, allergies or otherwise booger-filled kid moments.
Extra soft, alcohol, phthalate and paraben free, Boogie Wipes are available in Great Grape, Fresh Scent, Minty Menthol and Simply Unscented. Recommended by pediatricians as a gentle, effective alternative to a dry tissue.   These can be purchased online, Target, Walgreens, Walmart, and Rite Aid.  They come in packs of 30 wipes, and a canister of 90 wipes.  This is something that we will definately keep in stock in our home.

Now, your probably thinking that these sound pretty cool and you might want to try them for yourself but maybe you do not want to use Boogie Wipes, you can check out the adult version called Saline Soothers.  These are just as great.  I have recently gotten a cold and I have personally used these.  They are much softer than tissues.  The scents are not overwhelmings, and it makes my face feel fresh.  Pre-moistened with natural saline, vitamin E, and aloe, Saline Soothers are designed to do just that – soothe.  They are hypoallergenic and alcohol free. Saline Soothers come in three refreshing scents: Cool Menthol, Fragrance Free, and Light Lavender.  I have not tried the Light Lavender yet but that is the next one that I try.  I like the Cool Menthol scent, it helps to clear the congestion.  These come in packs of 15 and can be purchased online, or stores like Walmart, Walgreens, Shop Rite, and Waldbaums just to name a few places.

You can also check out Little Busy Bodies to learn how to get some Boogie Wipes and Saline Soothers for your doctor office, daycare, church and other places.

Now for the fun part.  I was given a personal supply for my family, but I thought it would be great to do a giveaway of the products to my wonderful readers.  One winner will receive 2 packs of Boogie Wipes and One winner will receive 2 packs of Saline Soothers.

As of today, you have one week until Valentine's Day.  That romantic night that most couples celebrate together.  When I say EdenFantasys, what comes to your mind?  I bet it is not makeup. They have lots of beautiful choices to glam yourself up.  Dress up your eyes with some eye shadow.  Make your lips inviting with some pretty lip gloss.  After you make yourself beautiful, why not spray on some perfume for your husbands senses.  While we are talking about scents, get a candle. They have these romantic candles that float.  You can take a bath together and light these candles and turn the lights off.  The lingerie choices they have seem endless.  They have items for those who are just looking for something simple yet sexy, and they have items for others who choose to be more revealing.  Whatever your style they have it.  They also have pretty plus sized lingerie for those like me who cannot seem to lose the baby weight and are a little self consious about there bodies. With all the great things that EdenFantasys has to offer you should have no problem making your Valentines Night special.  Even if you do not have it for Valentines Day, this online store has everything that you need.  While you are there making your order do not forget to add your free gift with every order.  I forgot to do that with my first order but will not forget to do so with my next one, that is for sure.  When you do order, you do not have to worry about a revealing package coming to your door for all to see.  They use a discreet box so that only you know.  I really liked that part.  I am a little on the quiet side and would be a little embarassed if my mailman knew what I was getting.  So, what are you waiting for?  Check them out!

Happy Birthday Build A Bear!!

Build A Bear has just reached not 1, but 2 special milestones!  Did you know that 15 years ago Build A Bear opened their first doors in St. Louis Galleria?  I did not know that. Since that day it has grown to become a global brand while being recognized as a company with heart. Happy Birthday to them!!  The second special milestone is an awesome one.  They just sold their 100 millionth bear.  Now, if you ask me that is a whole lot of bears!  Congratulations to them.  Do you happen to have one of there 100 million bears?  Unfortunately, we do not.  My kids have asked and begged for us to take them to Build A Bear.  We have not had the finances to do so but we will in the future.  Until then my kids have there own bears we got from the local store so that they have something soft for them to sleep with.  They like having their own friends to sleep with and play with.  It is like a security blanket for them and they cannot wait to have a bear from Build A Bear that they can dress up and make it their own.  Having that special furry friend really helps them out.  It gives them comfort when they need it.  I think that is important for them.  Having friends count.  It might be a furry stuffed friend that can always be there for your child or a real person who is a friend to them and laughs with them and builds them up as a person.

Longest day ever

Man today has been a long one. Here it is 8pm and I am finally getting to relax. On Tuesday Evan got out of speech with some kind of reaction in his eyes. They were red and swollen. They were fine yesterday but he woke up this morning with them red and puffy again so we took him to the dr this morning. He somehow got them irratated and by his rubbing them he got an infection. So now he has to have eye drops three times a day. That should be fun. While I was there at the doctor I figured I would ask her about his huge tonsils possibly being the culprit in some of his speech issues and she said it could but in order to be referred to the ENT they would need a X-ray done of his mouth to see how large his tonsils and adenoids are. That was also a fun experience. Waiting in the waiting room with a three and a four year old for 45 minutes. He did really good for the X-ray part. Then afterwards I go to get in my truck only to realize the keys are in the ignition and the doors were locked. After about another 45 minutes my wonderful husband came to rescue me with his keys. That was a long 45 minutes with 2 boys trying to play in the parking lot. Thank God for my iPhone being able to play movies on Netflix. Had to rush to get Evan to his speech appt which we were late for. Then had to go get John from school where my lovely truck decided to overheat. Good thing my husband taught me how to remove the radiator cap and run. I had the truck up and going again in just 5 mins. So proud of myself. Spent the evening looking at a house we are trying to buy. I'm praying it works out. Now I'm relaxing on the couch and probably gonna be asleep in a few minutes but wanted to put a post up since its been a few days. Hope everyone else's day was great!!
