I find it hard to find a good underwire bra that fits correctly and does not jab me with the wire. I think I have found that bra. I was recently given a bra from Leading Lady to try and review. The bra that I was given is an underwire, has a little padding, and it is pre molded. This bra has got to be the most comfortable bra I have worn. My family went camping for a week and I wore this bra while I was there and was very comfortable. I am not constantly readjusting it. It stays put. The wires are not digging in to my underarms or anywhere else. It is a soft material that does not irratate my skin at all. The straps have not fallen down once which is awesome. I am tired of pulling up straps that keep falling down. I have washed the bra a few times and it has held its shape. Leading Lady has a bunch of options to choose from. They have a full figure section and a nursing bra section with a lot of color choices for each. So if you are looking for a great bra for someone is is full figured than I would definately shop online at Leading Lady.
(Disclosure: I recieved a bra from Leading Lady for the purpose of my review. All opinions shared here are that of my own and were not persuaded in any way.)

Why I dislike playdoh
I am sure that I am not alone on this. While I love the fact that the kids can be creative and use their imagination with playdoh, I truly dislike the mess that it makes. It gets all over the shoes and the carpet and it becomes a pain in the butt to get off. I have recently thrown away a bunch of playdoh for that reason. My kids have been asking for more so I caved. The rule was that it would be an outside toy now. We live in an apartment and the tennis court happens to be right behind us so I pick a small corner for the boys to go wild with the playdoh. As I look at all the smashed in globs of playdoh stuck to the tennis court (that will have to be pressure washed to get off), I'm glad it isn't all over my carpet. The kids are having a blast with it though and that's all that matters.
FyrFlyz Review
I recently had the opportunity to receive and review the new FyrFlyz toy. It is a fun little light up toy. As soon as I started figuring out how to work it my kids were all over me trying to get a turn. So I let them each get a turn. My littlier ones had a hard time getting it to start swinging and when they did start it would hit them in the face. There arms are not long enough yet for this toy. My older son who is 6 was able to do it a little more easily. It did hit him a few times but not as much as my younger kids. I think this is a fun toy for kids probably older than 8. The FyrFlyz website has some really cool tricks that I want to learn how to do, that is, if I can get it out of the hands of my kids. It lights up pretty during the light but it looks prettier when it is darker so that the lights are more seen. There are three different FyrFlyz colors to choose from. They retail for under $10. This is a fun toy for kids young and old. I enjoyed it just as much as my kids do.

The Love and Respect Experience
About a year ago I went through a series in a Sunday School class at church called Love and Respect. Wow, it is a great curriculum that I think every couple should go through. Then when I was searching for a new book to review on BookSneeze, I came across the book The Love and Respect Experience. Basically it is a devotional book for couples based on the curriculum. You do not have to have had gone through the study to understand this book, but it does help a little bit to understand. The book itself is really nice. Kinda like a journal type material. It is very appealing to the eye. The devotions are short and they have discussion questions and the end of the devotion to get you and your spouse talking more about the devotion topic. It is broken down into 52 different devotions and is made to go through in a year doing one devotion a week. It is not in any kind of order so you can skip around and do whichever topic you feel lead to do each week, which I liked. This devotional I would say is a must read for couples.

(Disclaimer: I received this book in exchange for my review thanks to the BookSneeze Program. All opinions are that of my own.)

Purex Triple Action detergent
Being a Purex Insider, it is fun to be able to try new products from Purex as they are made. Recently, I was given a bottle of their new Triple Action formula. This new and improved Triple Action formula delivers even better on Purex's promise to leave your clothes bright, white, and clean, and as always, for half the price of the leading brand. So when I received my bottle of laundry detergent I just happened to have a mountain of laundry that needed to be done. (acutally what mom doesnt). I got the Mountain Breeze scented detergent and it smells really good. I put in a load of whites and this detergent made them whiter than they were. It also got some stains out that were not yet set in. I am impressed with this detergent. My clothes are also smelling pretty good too. What else is good about this product is that is has been specifially formulated to work in both traditional and High efficiency (HE) washers. There are 6 different scents of the new Triple Action formulas: After the Rain, Lavender Fresh, Original Fresh, Linen and Lilies, Lilac and White Lavander, and Free and Clear. I cannot wait to try all of those scents.

(Disclaimer: Purex provided me a free sample of their Triple Action laundry detergent so I could write a review. All opinions expressed here are my own)

DaVinci Gourmet Flavored Syrup Review and Giveaway ends 1/4/12
I love using syrups in everything now. I like making smoothies, making recipes and using them in sodas. When I was given the opportunity to review DaVinci Gourmet Syrups I was excited to do so. I recieved three yummy flavors to try and review, Vanilla, Raspberry, and Hazelnut. I am not a Hazelnut fan so I gave that bottle to my mom and let her try it and she loved it. She used it in her coffee and she said it was great. I used the Vanilla Syrup in my sodas and I love the smooth flavor it gave them. I also tried a recipe for my kids to try called Cookies and Milk from their website. They loved it, so did I. I also made smoothies with the vanilla too. For the Raspberry Syrup, I made some Raspberry smoothies using vanilla ice cream and the raspberry flavored syrup. I also poured some in some iced tea and my kids drank it up. I loved trying all the different recipes that are on the DaVinci website. I think that these a great tasting syrups and I will be stocking up on a few of the different flavors that they offer.
Where to buy it from? You can buy their great tasting syrups online. They are reasonably priced at just $7.99 a bottle. And they have a ton of yummy flavors to choose from.
WIN IT!! The lovely people at DaVinci are letting me have a giveaway on here to one of my lucky readers. One of my readers will recieve 3 bottles of their own DaVinvi Gourmet Syrups, flavors will be chosen by sponsor. All information is on the rafflecopter form.

Our camping trip
We made it home yesterday from camping. I am so wore out. I need a vacation from the vacation lol. It was a lot of work but was so worth it. My kids had a blast. They got to help daddy start the fires and cut the wood for the fires. They played in the dirt and I didn't care. I was letting them be boys out in the woods. We enjoyed seeing the animals like armadillos, raccoons, and even wild pigs. They got a kick out of seeing them. They got to touch a gopher turtle. I didn't know those hissed when you got to close to it. The boys ate almost 3 bags of marshmallows. We roasted hotdogs (actually the boys did it themselves). They climbed up big sand dunes and they convinced me to jump off of them like they were doing. I swore I broke my shin. Luckily I didn't. We went on nature trails along the river hoping to see alligators but no luck there. They asked quite a bit to play on our phones or watch movies on the phone but we didnt let them. This was a technology free week and it was great. This was a much needed family vacation and we are already planning our second camping trip.

Going camping
My husband and I decided it was time to take our three wonderful boys on their first camping trip. I am super excited to go. I love the outdoors. Hiking the trails will be fun and I'm sure there will be a ton of photo opportunities for my wannabe photographer self. I'm looking forward to making s'mores and cooking hotdogs over the fire. This will be our first camping trip ever as a family and I'm sure this will help us to grow closer since there's going to be no television, cell phone using, video games etc. It is just gonna be us and the beautiful nature God gave us to enjoy. So there will be no posts from me until I get back and then I'm sure I'll have a lot to write about. Take some time for yourselves and your families during this stressful part of the holiday season.

GrowUms Review and Giveaway Ends 12/16
When my son came home one day in Kindergarten with a fundraising packet from Growums, I was intrigued. I wanted to know what these Growums were all about. They are cute little seed kits that help encourage children to grow and take care of there own little gardens. There are 6 different gardens to choose from: a Taco Garden, a Pizza Garden, a Stir Fry Garden, an Herb Garden, a Ratatouille Garden, and a Salad Garden. At the time of my sons fundraiser we were unable to participate in it, so when I found out that I get to review a garden of my own I was excited. My kids love growing plants and this would be fun for them, ecspecially since they will get to eat what they are growing. I was given the taco garden to review. Which is a great one since we love eating tacos! My kit came in a cute little container that included everything that I would need to get started. All I needed was a shallow pie pan.
Then the directions said to add warm water and the pellats would expand. My kids thought this part was funny to see. It took about a minute for them to fully expand like that.
Then I let each child pick out what they wanted to be "their" plant and I let them do the dirty work of adding the seeds. Which they also liked doing.
This was a fun little activity that we did that will have fun rewards to last a while once they start producing. After we finished this part we placed them outside to get the sunlight. This was all about 6 days ago. I went out there to check on them and was happy that some of them have already started sprouting. (the kit came with extra seeds for the ones that had a hard time getting sprouted which I thought was nice, it looks like I might need a few extra ones)
My kids were as excited as I was to get started so we got it started the day it came. The directions were super simple which is a plus, because trying to do stuff with 3 young children is difficult enough without adding a ton of directions.
We placed all our pellats in a pie pan, ( I had no choice but to finish up the thanksgiving pumpkin pie)
Then I let each child pick out what they wanted to be "their" plant and I let them do the dirty work of adding the seeds. Which they also liked doing.
After all the seeds were planted, we put in the little signs that said which pellat was which.
I think that this is a great project for families to do. I also think that this would be a fun fundraising activity for schools, churches, sport teams, etc.
How to buy these: You can go HERE and see if there is a store near you that sells them. Or go HERE to buy them online. They are about $10 a piece which is a great price escpecially when it comes with everything needed for an entire garden.
You can also win a garden of your choice. The nice people at Growums are letting me have a giveaway here to one of my lucky readers. Now you can grow your own garden.

It is official!
We are officially a diaper free house. Whew! We started buying diapers almost 7 years ago when I found out I was pregnant with my first son. We had been buying diapers ever since then and man that adds up. Buying pullups for John while Evan and Elishah were still in diapers, (different sizes too). We had 3 children within 3 years and with all the diapers and pullups it was getting expensive. My oldest was still in pullups when my youngest was born. Now that my youngest Elishah is 3 I had been putting off potty training for almost a year and we finally decided to finally to stick to it. We kinda of did a cold turkey kind of potty training. I stopped putting diapers on Elishah during the day and gave him m&ms every time he would go and it took about a month to complete it. He was in diapers at night but was waking up in the middle of the night to let us know he had to go so we finally stopped using them even at night. We have not bought a pack of diapers in almost a month. Such a financial relief.

Money Making Sites
A while back I had did a post on which sites that I use to make a few extra bucks. I have only done some of them for a few months and I had enough money earned to help out with Christmas this year which is great. I have learned of a few more sites so I figured that I would do a new post with them all.
The first one I use is ICS. Which is short for Instant Cash Sweepstakes. This is a fun survey site. You answer 3 little questions per survey and you earn tickets and coins and the more tickets you have the more likely youll be to win $50. They have a nightly drawing of $50. They also have a $2 drawing every 4 hours that you use coins to enter. Sounds complicated but it is super easy. So go HERE to sign up for it. They pay using Paypal.
The next one I use is called BeeZag. This is a site that you can watch ads and watch for 2 scrolling numbers. At the end of the ad you can enter the 2 numbers and get points. I have already recieved $24 from them and I am almost at another $8. So go HERE to sign up for that. They pay using paypal
The next one is CrowdTap. You get to do discussions and sample shares. You turn your points into amazon gift cards. And the thing that I like from this site is that you actually get to use your points and 5% goes to a charity of your choice. I personally chose Autism Speaks but there are plenty to choose from. Go here to sign up for it.
Another one I use is Dollar Surveys. This site takes you to different surveys that are available. You can take as many surveys as you want. You get a dollar for every survey that you qualify for and finish. They pay weekly in your paypal accounts.
I also now use Opinion Outpost. They will email you once a survey becomes available. If you qualify and finish it you get points. You then turn those points into cash. They pay amazon gift cards.
I recently found out about Superpoints. This one you get points for also doing surveys, refering friends, spinning a lucky wheel. You turn your points into prizes in the form of gift cards to various places. Click on any of these links in this section to get an invite or just leave a comment saying you are interested in joining as this is invite only.
Lastly, I just signed up using SurveySavvy. I am fairly new to this one but so far it seems to be doing good.
I only post what I have personally used and know what works. I am sure that there are plenty of other survey sites out there that you can make more money with but I have 3 little ones that I have been blessed with and I would rather take the time to spend with them when they are home from school and are not napping. So during naptime I tend to search for some and as I become more familiar with new ones I will be sure to pass them along to my readers!

TruKid Review and Giveaway ends 12/16

I was recently given the opportunity to recieve and review 2 TruKid products with my kids. In my box that I had gotten was their Silly Shampoo and Happy Lotion. When I told my kids what they get to try they laughed at the names. I thought it was cute. My kids love to try new things just like I do so they asked all day if they could have a bath. So that night I gave them all a bath.
I used the Silly Shampoo on them. It smells so good. I kinda want to use it for myself. They like the Silly Shampoo so much that they make sure that it is what I use now when I bathe them. I feel good using this product on my kids. TruKids Silly Shampoo is a mild, safe cleanser for kids' sensitive skin and hair that effectively removes surface oil, and dirt without stripping natural oils. Lightly scented with TruKids essential oil blend, there are no parabens, SLS, artificial colors or fragrances in this biodegradable formula.
Now that winter is coming and my kids skin is getting easily dry, I have been trying different lotions to help keep their skin mosturized. So I was excited to get to try the Happy Face and Body Lotion on the boys. They are normally upset when I take them out of the bath because they want more play time, I told them in order to get the Happy Lotion on they had to be happy and that made them laugh. My middle son asked for me to draw a happy face on his stomach since it was Happy Lotion, so I did and that made him laugh. Now they all ask for a happy face drawn with the lotion before I rub it in. This lotion smells amazing as well. This is another product that I am comfortable using on my boys because New TruKid Happy Face and Body lotion is now Super Safe for Sensitive Skin. This moisture-rich lotion uses plants such as cupuacu butter and shea butter, which work to relieve dry skin. This lotio is lightly scented with TruKid naturl essential oil blend. There are no parabens, phthalates, SLS, or artificial colors or fragrances in this biodegradable formula.
I love that these products are free of Parabens Phthalates, Gluten, BPA, SLS, petroleum, fragrances and harsh chemicals. They are all natural products and are safe for all kids. Even kids with sensitve skin.
The nice people at TruKid are offering something really nice. If you purchase any items from TruKid over $35 they will give my readers a FREE Silly Shampoo. Use the coupon code sillymom at the checkout. This can be used 1 time per customer. How cool is that!
So, want to win one? TruKid has graciously let me have a giveaway here and the winner will get there own Silly Shampoo and Happy Face and Body Lotion. Simply enter on the rafflecopter form for your chance to win. Winner will be notified by email within 24 hours of end of giveaway and will then have 24 hours to respond. TruKid is sponsoring this giveaway and will be responsible for sending out the prize to the winner. All entrants must be 18 and old and US resident only please. Thanks and good luck.

Saline Ambassador Program
I was recently chosen to be a part of the Saline Ambassador Program. I was sent a box of goodies from Boogie Wipes and Saline Soothers. Some products for my personal use and a lot to give out and have people sample. I have bought Boogie Wipes in the past for my kids when they were sick and they work great. It is a product that I love and will continue using. I am excited to get to try the new Saline Soothers. These are great products from Little Busy Bodies.
What are Boogie Wipes?
What are Boogie Wipes?

What are Saline Soothers?

These are great products just in time for the upcoming cold and flu season.
