Real Moms Love to Eat book by Beth Aldrich

Growing up, I never struggled with my weight, or worried about how I looked.  I did not think that I was a super hotty or anything but I was pretty confident in my body.  Fast forward 7 years and 3 kids, and I sure am wishing I had my old body back.  I got married and had three boys within 3 years and man, does my body show it.  Now I struggle with losing the weight that I gained because I was eating for two.  I have tried dieting but havent really known which diet I should do because there are a ton out there.  Seriously, do a google search for diets and you might be at your computer for days trying to find one you like. 

I just recently joined a group online and someone mentioned this book and I right away went to check it out.  I agreed to help promote this book on my blog in return for a digital copy that I can read.  So I recieved my digital copy and started reading it immediately.  This book nails it on the head.  As moms we focus on taking care of our husbands, our kids, and our homes and find very little time to take care of us. We need to take care of ourselves so that we have the energy to take care of everything and everyone else.  I am excited to start changing my eating habits and start dropping the pounds.  Now I just gotta be brave and start my days by drinking a green smoothie.  But what will make that better is that I get to have a yummy piece of dark chocalate every day too.  It's true.  Check out Beth Aldrich's BOOK to find out why.

Is it just a boy thing?

I have noticed a pattern in my children's stories that they tell.  In every single story, some one gets hurt or dies.  They do not watch the news or any older type cartoon.  My tv is on Noggin whenever it we turn it on.  We closely monitor what they watch because they are still so young.  We have been trying to get them to tell us more stories lately, and we try to do silly stories but somehow the purple fish with green polka dots gets ran over by a car.  My 6 year old son has his own writing notebook that he can write in and draw in and the other night I just picked it up and read his recent story.  It went like this.  On Sunday, it was Christmas.  John, Evan, and Elishah gave Santa some milk and cookies.  Santa gave me a blue scooter and I love it.  (at this point I am thinking that this is gonna be a cute story, but then I continued)  On Monday, the day after Christmas, Santa was killed by a fox.  Poor Santa.

When I asked my son why Santa was killed by the fox he told me that his sleigh broke down. 

I wonder if I should be worried about this or if its just a boy thing? 

Burt's Bees Senstive Skin line

I am in another campaign for Bzz Agent.  This time it was for the new Burt's Bees Sensitve Skin Facial Cleaning line.  I recieved a full size product of the face wash and the daily mosturizer.  I got these products about two weeks ago and have been using them since to try them out so I can write a review on it. I think both products work well.  When I first used the facial cleanser, a lot squeezed out so I think that they could have made the opening a little bit smaller to reduce waste but other than that I love it.  I like that these products do not dry my face out.  The mosturizer works really well.  At the end of the day, my face still feels soft and mosturized without the need to have to reapply throughout the day.  Now that it is finally getting cold here, this is a mosturizer that I am ok with using and knowing that it will help prevent my face from becoming dry and peeling.  The smells of the products are not overwhelming, they do not smell mediciney like some other face cleaners.

Renuzit Fresh Accents Giveaway

Being that I am a Purex Insider, I get to try stuff for free in return for a review.  Usually its a laundy detergent but they recently had a promotion for Renuzit and I was one of the lucky 500 people to get picked to try a new product not even on shelves yet for Renuzit.  I was surpised when I got home and saw a box.  I did not recently order anything so I was excited when I opened it up there were 2 Renuzit Fresh Accents and some coupons.  They both smell so good.

Sleep Number bed

Being a part of Smiley 360 I am on the Sleep Number bed mission.  Basically I get to go into the Sleep Number store and check out the different beds and go get my personal sleep number.  My number ended up being 55.  The store I went to was in the mall, and it was kinda small but thats alright.  The employee was Darlene and she was nice.  She said she hadn't seen or heard of Smiley before and thought it was pretty cool.  She said she was going to tell her daughter to sign up at the site.  Then I tried out the bed, she went through all the different numbers that it can go.  The 3d imaging on the computer was pretty cool to see how I lay and where all the pressure points were.  I think this would be a great bed to have in our home but it is a little pricey for us right now.  I cannot wait to try out their travel pillow that I will be getting after I finish this mission.  I am excited.  If you have not signed up for Smiley 360 you definately should.
