Tide Stain Release
Tide was having a giveaway on their Facebook page in return for a review so I signed up. They sent me a 10 count sample bag of the Tide Stain Release Duo Pac to try out in my laundry. As you might now I have 3 young children so needless to say the white clothes do not stay white long after getting them. So after recieving this product I immediately put it to work. I wanted to try it out on the white clothes first. So I grabbed white towels, socks, underwear, tshirts and polo shirts. All white. I added my laundry detergent and then my clothes and then put a Duo Pac on top of the load of clothes as instructed on the package. After the washer was done I was amazed at how white the clothes turned out. I was definately impressed by this product and will absolutely be purchasing this product once I am done with this sample pack.

Old Navy Shopping Trip
The website Crowd Tap is an amazing site! I was invited to be a part of their sample and share program for on Old Navy Shopping Trip to get a pair of shorts, a shirt and an accessory. All for FREE!! So I invited my two sisters and one of my sister in laws. Unfortunately my sister in law and one of my sisters were unable to come with us, so me and one of my sisters went. The other 2 will go on there own and take pictures for me as they go. So back to the trip, it was hard to shop with 4 kids under the age of 6 but we made the best of it. We had fun trying on clothes and sunglasses and everything. Even the kids got into trying on stuff. I was a little disappointed with Old Navy not having any plus sized clothes in there store, and there was only one pair of shorts that fit me so even though it wasnt what I originally wanted they were still kind of cute. After trying on clothes for two hours we finally decided on our free outfits and went to the cashier, who was amazed at the coupon and she wanted to know where I had gotten them from so of course I emailed her my referal link to CrowdTap. Below are our pictures from our fun trip.

Disclaimer: I received these coupons for the free clothes in return for my review and depending on the quality of my review I will get a small amount of money and points into my account at CrowdTap.

How I made my son's lightning mcqueen cake
My son turned 6 today. We had his party on saturday and he asked for a "Cars" cake. We didn't really have the money to get a cake already made so I decided I would attempt to make his cake for him. First I just used the Betty Crocker cake mix. I used one chocolate and one vanilla, and I added a package of vanilla and chocolate pudding mix into the corresponding cake mix just to make it a little more moist. As it was baking in the oven, I had printed out the design that I wanted on the cake. Then I took a piece of wax paper and layed it on top of the design and used black icing and traced the pictures.

Then I placed the wax paper on a cookie sheet and stuck it in the freezer so that the icing would get hard. After the cakes were finished cooking and after it cooled, I iced it with white icing. I left the cake out for about an our so that the icing on the cake would get a little bit hard. After it was a little hard, I took the designs out of the freezer and transfered it to the cake.

And after I got the icing design onto the cake then I took red icing and used a wilton tip to add the icing to the car and used a little yellow for the lightning bolts on it. And while it isnt professional looking, it looks pretty good to me and my son.

Money Making sites
I have posted in the past about sites that I use to get free stuff and money. I have since found a few more that I thought I would put it all in one spot again with the new sites so that everyone else can do the same thing. So far in 2 months I have redeemed $20 in paypal money just from doing these for a few minutes each day. While it isnt as good as a full time job, it does help out a little with birthdays and christmas coming.
The first is ICS. This is a fun survey site. You answer 3 little questions per survey and you earn tickets and cash and the more tickets you have the more likely youll be to win $50. They have a nightly drawing of $50. They also have a $2 drawing every 4 hours that you use coins to enter. Sounds complicated but it is super easy. So go here to sign up for it.
The next is BeeZag. This is a site that you can watch ads and watch for 2 scrolling numbers. At the end of the ad you can enter the 2 numbers and get points. I have already recieved $8 from them and I am almost at another $8. So go here to sign up for that.
The next one is CrowdTap. You get to do discussions and sample shares. You turn your points into amazon gift cards. And the thing that I like from this site is that you actually get to use your points and 5% goes to a charity of your choice. I personally chose Autism Speaks but there are plenty to choose from. Go here to sign up for it.
This one is Dollar Surveys. You answer questions and if you qualify for a survey and you complete the survey you get a $1 in your paypal account. I have been with this site for just a week and have gotten $6. They pay out every monday. Go here to sign up.
Those are the ones that I use right now to get a few extra bucks. Every penny helps =)
