As being a member of SheSpeaks, I was mailed 4 of the new Hormel Compleats for kids microwavable dinners. I was excited to try them out with my childen. They are very convienent for if you are on the go. It only takes 90 seconds to warm up and then it is ready to serve. They have four different flavors for the kids meals: Beef Ravioli, Spaghetti and meatballs, macaroni and beef, and chicken and pasta. I was ready to serve them to my children for their lunch over the weekend. That did not go as planned. They absolutely refused to try them. I gave each child a different flavor and each child still was not interested. I asked if they wanted to try a different one that someone else had and still a no go. So unfortunately these did not appeal to my children. I think the concept is great but maybe I have spoiled my children with homecooked meals all day.
Disclaimer: I recieved these items free of charge by shespeaks in return for my review. There was no monetary exchange. Review is 100% my own.

John Frieda Precision Foam
I was recently sent a coupon for a free box of the new John Frieda Precision Foam hair dye. So I went to publix to pick up a box and I chose 4N Brilliant Brunette Dark Natural Brown. My hair was a light to medium brown to start with and I wanted to go darker so that is why I chose that one. I opened the box and in it was the color developer, colorant, pump, conditioner which is bigger than other brands and gloves. These gloves were black, pretty cool.
My hair is really long and I normally have to buy 2 boxes of dye to get it all colored but I thought I would try just the one box that I got. It covered it pretty well, I was getting a little nervous towards the end of the bottle and was worried it might not cover it all but it did.
It was pretty simple to apply this by myself, the foam was a pretty cool part. I was not able to get the dye to be frothy (thats the word the instructions used) so I was concerned that it was not going to work as it should. But I did my best to get every strand of my hair covered. The smell was not as strong and overwhelming as some other brands. After applying the dye all over my head I waited 30 mins, the box recommends 20 plus and additional 10 for gray or thicker hair. It rinsed out pretty easily. Did not take forever to do so, and the conditioner smelt really good. Thats always a plus =)Here is my before
and here is my after
It is a dark brown and I am happy with the color of it. I have washed my hair twice already and the color is still the same, has not faded yet. Overall I like this hair dye and I will probably be using it again.Disclaimer: I recieved the free product coupon for free in exchange for my review, there was no monetary exchange of any sort. Review is 100% my own opinion =)

Family Fun
I really enjoy having my family around me. I love hanging out with my husband and kids. I think that family time is so important in helping a family bond together. As a family we try to do fun stuff together on a regular basis. Even if it means we all just go up to a store and just walk around it with an icee, and stopping the toy section and having all my boys going up against me and my husband in a sword fight. It is quite funny to see the employees look at us like we are crazy but I'm spending time with my kidsI do not care what anyone thinks. It is those moments that our children will remember. A few weeks ago we took the boys to a blueberry festival. It was not planned, we just happened to look in the paper and see that it was going on so we got in the car and went. We had a blast being together picking (and eating) the blueberries. Just hanging out. We have had a few water fights in the house. Yes some papers got wet and messed up but we were having fun with our children. Every Friday night we have movie night. We all get on the couch, snuggle up together and watch a kiddie movie. The kids ask if it is friday just about everyday, because they look forward to it. I think it is moments like that, that make an impact in a child's life. Children grow up too fast and we should take the time to hang out with them and be there with them. They are not going to remember the toys we bought them or something small like that, they things they will remember the most are the times we played together as a family. They are important to us and we like to make sure that they know they are important to us. They are a part of the family too. And I would not trade a sword fight in the middle of a store for anything!!

Laundry Life
As a family of five, with four of the five being guys, we have a ton of laundry. There is laundry is the bathrooms, the bedrooms, the living room, just about everywhere. I am surrounded by laundry. It is endless. Just when I think I have caught up with all the loads at the end of the day, the kids have to change into there pajamas leaving me with more laundry for the next day. We had a system once upon a time. Unlike fairy-tales, this oce upon a time does not have a happy ending. It lasted two weeks. But it was a great system that I need to get back to. I had it down to only one load a day with no laundry anywhere around the house. It was awesome to walk around the house and not have to pick up a dirty shirt or pants. But where I struggle is with putting the clothes away. So I end up just folding them and putting them in laundry baskets and letting them fill up and that ends up slowing down the washing and drying because I have nowhere to put them and then I get overwhelmed with the amount of clothes that I need to put away. So I have a solution. I am going to invent disposable clothes =) They will be cheap but stylish, wear them once or twice then throw away. I wonder if that'll work......
